Health Databank opened by Finnish BassetClub! (in Finnish only, sorry)

Databank contains individual dogs with inheritable or possible inheritable diseases. The information has been given to public by the owner or the breeder. The intention of this databank is to give information for breeders and puppy-buyers, and to gain some possibility to fight against these diseases. Unfortunately all owners don't want to give the information of their dogs to public, but this is a good start for that fight!

Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD)

Autumn 2009 Meeri was diagnoced VSD. It was a bit of a shock. She is now in semi-pension. No tests or trials. Only some shows and hunting. At this moment Meeri has no symptoms. She can live normal life with other dogs. We enjoy every day and moment with her.
